Deric Zacca is a Florida Bar Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer and former prosecutor who graduated in the top 5% of his class at the University of Miami School of Law. During his career at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, he tried hundreds of criminal cases involving crimes ranging from DUI to Capital Murder. He also served as a Supervising Prosecutor in the DUI Division and was responsible for training new DUI Prosecutors. His trial experience involved cases ranging from drunk driving, drug trafficking, grand theft, fraud, insurance fraud, welfare fraud, mail fraud, mortgage fraud, healthcare fraud, wire fraud, alien smuggling, sex trafficking, kidnapping, child abuse, sexual battery, conspiracy, armed robbery, armed burglary and 1st degree murder. Mr. Zacca is licensed to practice in both State and Federal Court, including the Federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
